ANGELINE ELIZABETH KIRBY MEMORIAL HEALTH CENTER
A+E provided all design services and permitting associated with the site, landscaping, and storm water improvements for the historic building and surrounding campus. Design work included the addition of two parking lots for nearly 100 vehicles and a truck pull-off area for short-term deliveries, new entrance and exit drives, replacement of all site concrete curbing and concrete walkways, re-setting and replacement of damaged granite walkway slabs and granite curbing, installation of new ADA detectable warning surfaces and cross-walks, re-setting of nearly 600 LF of Belgian block interior driveways, new sidewalks and the re-setting of granite pavers within the tree lawn areas of Franklin Street and Union Street, replacement of site lighting with period appropriate Sternberg lighting fixtures, new campus wide vehicular signage, new decorative bollards, new campus wide CCTV system, new landscaping and planting beds throughout the campus, relocation of Verizon telephone, Service Electric cable, and UGI natural gas lines, separation of storm piping and sanitary piping, new underground storm water detention system, and the construction of new site walls from salvaged red stone.
